Velin Noir
Velin Noir paints what the night keeps to itself. Monochrome nocturnes — ink and water, darkness as the medium, light as a rare guest.
The woman in the paintings does not court the gaze. She grants it. She has a name; the night keeps that too.
Velin: the fine printing paper of the old masters — once vellum, made of skin. Whoever has always worked on skin finds their way back to paper.
